Unboxing the Fujifilm Instax LiPlay

I picked up the new instax LiPlay camera/printer. Basically it’s an instax camera that can print from your iPhone over bluetooth. It includes an LCD screen to preview the image before printing. I was super impressed with how easy it is to use. The menus are logical and the iPhone app is simple. The only item on my wish list is the ability to print directly from the X-T3 to this printer. Right now, you have to use the Fujifilm app to transfer jpg files from the X-T3 to your phone, before you can print. The camera also supports miniSD cards, so I added a card so I can transfer files to lightroom.

Camera uses the Instax Mini film and I happen to have a few boxes of expired film going back 3 or 4 years. The color quality for the expired film isn’t too bad.
